Una Rine Consulting cc is a close corporation firm incorporated in 2001 to carry out business as consulting engineers. The firm is committed to providing cost effective professional engineering services to meet the diversified requirements of its clients whilst maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
The firm has offices in Midrand (in Gauteng) and Thohoyandou (in Northern Province. The partners and senior staff are mainly black fully qualified and experienced professionals.
The firm in conjunction with B.N.Buziba & Associates has undertaken projects for a wide range of public and private sector clients for whom it has been appointed as Project Managers Consulting Engineers and Development Consultants. The type of projects handled include: Commercial and Multi-Stores Office Buildings; Schools, Colleges and Universities; Hospital; Clinics; Hostels; Lodges and Leisure Centers; Shopping Malls and Cinemas; Industrial Buildings and Factories; Residential Housing; Municipal and Township Reticulation; Electrical Transmission and Distribution Networks.
The involvement of the partners in each project form inception to completion ensures that their experience and expertise is channeled to achieve the client’s objective in the most expedient and cost effective manner.
All offices of the firm have computer-aided design and drafting facilities and use ismade of desktop computers for both project administrative tasks and engineering design, draughting and documentation. The firm has expertise and experience to efficiently design and specify a wide range of engineering services according to the requirements of the project.
Policy
As a fully African owned professional firm, which is suffering the effects of marginalisation, we are committed to employ and train a fully African technical staff.
Because of the lack of opportunities and exposure of Africans in technical careers orchestrated by the past political dispensation, the number of technically trained Africans has been limited. With our policy of employing, as far as possible, African staff and at the same time maintaining high ethical and professional standards, it has been necessary to sponsor the training of our staff in Technikon, technical colleges and professional institutions.
On community aspects, we are actively participating as technical advisors in various community development projects and are continuously assisting small contracting firms in tendering procedures, technical quality control, management etc.
In summary the policy of the firm is to help arouse interest in technical subjects in African youngsters, to assist technically qualified Africans forge forward in technical careers and at the same time maintain a high standard of professional and ethical excellence in all projects entrusted to us by our clients.
